Description
The Chroma Flash Inert Gas Connection Kit from Pac-Dent gives dental labs and clinics greater flexibility with their Rodin Chroma Flash curing system. Although the Chroma Flash already produces excellent tack-free results on many materials without nitrogen, this kit opens the built-in auxiliary port so you can introduce an external nitrogen supply. The result is a fully purged chamber that removes ambient oxygen during the flash cycle.
Removing oxygen inhibition allows you to process demanding, oxygen-sensitive third-party resins to their full mechanical potential while achieving highly polished, glass-like surface finishes. The kit installs quickly and requires no permanent changes to the Chroma Flash housing.
Advantages of the Chroma Flash Inert Gas Connection Kit
- Expanded Resin Options: Turns the Chroma Flash into an open system capable of handling industrial and specialty dental resins that need a nitrogen environment.
- Complete Oxygen Displacement: Stops the formation of sticky residual monomer layers, supporting safer, more biocompatible restorations and appliances.
- Durable Laboratory Hardware: Uses high-quality fittings and tubing rated for regulated gas lines to maintain steady pressure without leaks.
- Simple Plug-and-Play Design: Attaches directly to the factory rear port for fast setup in any lab or clinical setting.
Kit Contents
- Laboratory-grade high-pressure gas tubing
- Quick-connect fittings engineered for the Chroma Flash chassis
Usage Requirements
This accessory works only with regulated nitrogen lines. A separate tank regulator is required to control input pressure within manufacturer guidelines and is not supplied with the kit.
Add the Chroma Flash Inert Gas Connection Kit to your Rodin workflow when you need maximum material versatility, improved surface quality, and consistent high-performance results on specialized 3D-printed dental applications.
